Billing Terms and Refund Policy
The Tradentry Evaluation Program provides immediate access to live data and a trading account. Because of this, we are generally unable to offer refunds after a purchase is made. Listed below are our refund policies for the program.
General Refund Rule: Refunds are returned to the original payment method and cannot be redirected elsewhere.
1. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee Policy
We believe in the opportunity we provide and are committed to working to resolve any issues you may have. However, if in the first 14 calendar days of your first Tradentry purchase, you decide this is not the place for you, we will refund a maximum of one monthly renewal payment for your Evaluation Account as long as you have not already passed the evaluation. We just ask that you provide feedback as to why the program was not a fit for you.
2. Subscription Management (Auto-Renewals)
When you start an Evaluation Account, you are activating a monthly subscription which will be re-billed approximately every 30 days. Your account will automatically renew every 30 days until you pass the Evaluation Program or cancel your subscription. You can view and manage your subscription in your dashboard.
It is the trader’s responsibility to manage their subscription and ensure it is turned off if they choose to cancel to avoid additional subscription charges.
Accidental Subscription Charges: If you have accidentally left your subscription on and have no trading activity, please reach out to us within 72 hours after a monthly charge has been made. Any charges not reported within 72 hours as having been erroneously made due to a failure to cancel shall be non-refundable in all circumstances except where prohibited by law.
Reset Credits: When your monthly rebill is processed, we add one Reset credit to your Reset Bank. This Reset credit will match the size and account type of the Evaluation Account tied to that rebill, and it will expire 1 year from the date it is issued.
To request a refund for an accidental rebill, include the transaction amount, transaction date, and the last four digits of the payment card, and clearly explain why you’re requesting the refund. If you have already used the Reset credit issued from that rebill, we cannot process a refund.
3. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Tradentry does not provide refunds for purchases where a code was applied incorrectly, nor do we provide refunds for purchases made outside of the promotion terms and conditions. Since our offers are available for a limited time, we do not extend refunds for any discounts or codes that may have been missed. Please review our Promo Code Information page for more details.
4. Passed the Evaluation After a Recent Charge
Passing the Evaluation Program requires you to reach all of the required targets based on the account size. If these requirements are met shortly after a monthly payment, we cannot offer any form of refund or prorate the payment.
These requirements are outlined prior to beginning the program so that all traders are aware of the criteria for funding. In this situation, if a subscription payment was not made, the trading account would have been closed and funding would not have been available.
Additionally, when funding is earned in an Evaluation Account, the subscription and all paid fees are considered used in full. Any new Evaluation Program subscriptions would require a new payment unrelated to any previous accounts.
5. Account Resets
Tradentry does not provide refunds for Reset purchases, including refunds for accidentally resetting the wrong account or resetting the same account twice. It’s important to be careful when resetting your account and ensure you’re resetting the correct one by checking the account number before proceeding.
6. Market Data Services
Market Data (Level 2 Depth of Market) is activated immediately upon purchase and rebilled monthly on the last day of every month. Data fees are non-refundable and can be canceled at any time from your dashboard.
7. Activation Fee
Tradentry does not provide refunds for Activation Fee purchases, including cases where you accidentally activated the wrong account. Please carefully confirm the account name and ensure it matches the one on your Trade Report before paying your Activation Fee.
8. Reactivation / Restoration Services
Tradentry does not provide refunds for Reactivation (or Back2Funded) purchases. This includes situations where you may have accidentally reactivated the wrong Funded Account. Please carefully confirm the account name and make sure it matches the one on your Trade Report before completing your Reactivation purchase.
